성서의 표준에 비춰 볼 때, 그리스도의 택하심 받은 교회는 온 세상에서 가장 품위 있고, 가장 세련되며, 가장 점잔하고, 가장 관대하며, 가장 친절한 백성이 되어야 합니다;--그리고 가장 절대적 의미에서 이러한 백성이 되어야 합니다; 세상에서 일반적인 것처럼 단지 외양적 형태나 모습의 의미에서만 친절하고, 관대하거나, 등등이 아니고; 마음에서 우러나고, 또한, 주의 영과 진리의 영과 사랑의 영과 공의의 영에 대한 감사에서 우러나온 관대함과 친절이어야 합니다.
