우리에게 우리 날 계수함을 가르치사 지혜의 마음을 얻게 하소서 (시 90:12)
그리스도인은, 자신의 날을 계수함에 있어서, 비록 냉정한 정신으로 하더라도, 우울하거나 쓸쓸하게 하지 않습니다. 그는 그 날들을 “우리를 어둠에서 불러내셔서 자신의 경이로운 빛으로 인도하신 분을 찬양하는” 많은 축복과 많은 특권과 많은 기회의 날로 간주하고, 순례 여행에서 남들을 도우고, 하느님께서 기뻐하시는 자신의 성품을 더욱 발전시킴으로써 하느님의 사랑하는 아들을 더욱더 닮아 갑니다.
