경주를 성공적으로 달리는 모든 사람들은 주의 일에서 열심히 활동하도록 주의 합시다. 우리가 회피할 수 있거나 제쳐두어도 될 세상의 염려나 장애물 때문에 우리의 한 가지 또는 여러 가지 소질들을 묻어두거나, 우리 자신이나 가족을 위한 세상의 야망 때문에 그것들을 묻어 둔다면--이것이 과학, 철학, 음악 또는 예술이나 사업이나 정치나 오락 또는 주체할 수 없는 자만이나 성욕 때문에 하느님께 바친 시간을 낭비하는 것이든지 간에--불충실한 종으로서 우리는 조만간에 밖의 어둠으로 들어가게 될 것입니다.
